Other features: The “Farvater” uncrewed surface vessel is a multi-role craft designed for search operations, bottom mapping, fairway surveying, cargo transport, towing of small watercraft, and transport platforms with a displacement of up to 1,5 tons. Its base platform features a planing catamaran hull made of aluminum with a bow cargo compartment, enabling operation on large inland water bodies, rivers, and coastal marine zones. High maneuverability is delivered by two stationary internal combustion engines producing 150 horsepower each, paired with water-jet propulsion systems featuring reverse thrust. A key feature of the Farvater is its fly-by-wire control system supporting both manned and uncrewed modes, alongside actuators controlling water-jet nozzle positions, reverse flaps, and engine throttles. In manned mode, the vessel is operated via a steering wheel and electronic throttle-and-reverse levers, whereas in USV mode, an on-board computer manages all control systems autonomously. Operators can remotely command the craft from a coastal station or a host vessel using live video feeds and electronic map positioning, or have the Farvater navigate automatically along a preset route utilizing machine vision systems comprising a gyro-stabilized camera and an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar.
