Other features: The Pirana unmanned surface vehicle features a specialized composite hull geometry designed to minimize radar cross-section (RCS) and thermal signatures, enabling stealthy approaches against hostile vessels, ports, and coastal installations. Engineered for high-speed performance, the platform maintains exceptional stability and maneuverability in sea states up to Sea State 4. Beyond standard direct-line-of-sight command links, MKE has successfully demonstrated extended beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) control by utilizing an airborne relay via a Bayraktar TB3 operating from the TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship, with future integrations planned for satellite communication. Having successfully completed live-fire engagement trials against designated targets during the Denizkurdu naval exercises, the Pirana has proven its operational readiness for asymmetric naval warfare.
