Other features: The Astero reconnaissance UAV acts as a “mother ship” and signal relay, coordinating the simultaneous operation of 1 to 3 Raptor strike drones. Astero detects enemy positions in real time and transmits the coordinates to the operator, who then dispatches the Raptor for precision strikes on the target.
The Astero ISR drone carries a specialized sensor package featuring the Nighthawk X80 stabilized daylight camera turret for long-range observation and the Nighthawk 2 UZ continuous 360-degree rotating thermal and daylight camera.
The drone is man-portable and can be carried in a backpack with handles and shoulder straps.
