Ukrainian TAF Industries and Danish Upteko sign deal for joint drone production in Denmark

Signing of the memorandum

Ukrainian defense developer TAF Industries and Danish technology firm Upteko have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture in Denmark focused on mass-producing FPV drones. Signed during the DALO Industry Days 2026 event in Herning, the agreement aims to advance technological research and diversify existing defense supply chains.

The project is being executed under the Build with Ukraine initiative to establish manufacturing capabilities outside Ukraine. As reported by Oboronka, the companies plan to launch production facilities in Denmark with a targeted output of thousands of FPV drones per month starting in 2027. Upteko specializes in hardware and software development, electronics, and drone solution integration, which TAF Industries expects will accelerate operational timelines to deliver platforms directly to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovskyi, Denmark remains a key strategic partner due to its sustained support and practical assistance throughout the full-scale conflict. The collaborative effort leverages Upteko’s local technical infrastructure alongside Ukrainian operational concepts to scale output rapidly, ensuring steady supply lines to frontline units once manufacturing commences.
