Israeli UAV maker integrates visual navigation to counter GPS jamming

Israeli unmanned aerial systems developer Aero Sentinel is expanding domestic serial production to meet growing international demand across Europe and Asia. The company is stockpiling electro-optical sensors, expanding component inventories, and streamlining assembly workflows within Israel to reduce lead times, maintain system availability, and preserve competitive pricing.

The production ramp-up follows rapid international expansion, including an exclusive distribution agreement signed with German firm 2LNK GmbH to supply G2 and G3 drone systems to Kazakhstan’s security and defense sector.

Alongside manufacturing scaling, the company is upgrading its tactical platforms with visual navigation capabilities that allow drones to navigate using onboard cameras during GPS-denied conditions. Aero Sentinel is also transitioning to an open-architecture framework with enhanced software, enabling its intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance assets to integrate directly into broader command-and-control networks.

Aero Sentinel stated that these technological upgrades aim to accelerate operational decision-making, support force protection, and enhance security missions. The upgraded architecture is scheduled for its public debut at the UVID Dronetech 2026 conference in Tel Aviv, set for November 10 to 15, 2026.
