Ukrainian defense developer Ukrainska Bavovna has presented the Last Shadow T200, a new uncrewed interceptor aircraft designed for point defense of urban areas and frontline operational roles. Unveiled at an event organized by the Technological Forces of Ukraine, the platform is engineered to engage various aerial targets, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Molniya drones.
The aircraft operates with a maximum speed of 300 km/h and a operational ceiling of 5 km, maintaining an endurance between 40 minutes and one hour depending on velocity. During recent operational testing reported by Militarnyi, the platform demonstrated an effective control range of 122 km while maintaining video link quality, surpassing its baseline design specification of 70 km. The codified system incorporates a configurable warhead initiation module utilizing pulse-width modulation signals during target engagement.
To counter electronic warfare threats, specifically the Russian Shtora video-spoofing system, the Last Shadow T200 utilizes multi-channel frequency switching and an adjustable camera system to maintain target tracking. Developers are currently integrating an automated terminal guidance module to enable autonomous engagement after target lock, while transitioning the airframe from 3D printing to molded manufacturing to support system reusability.
