Other features: The Akash missile is powered by a solid-fuel booster combined with an integrated ramjet engine for the sustainer phase. It utilizes a command guidance system employing a multi-function radar, such as the Rajendra station, enabling it to simultaneously track and engage multiple aerial targets – including aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, and cruise missiles -under intense electronic countermeasures (ECM).
