Ukrainian defense forces have struck the Yaroslavl oil refinery (PJSC Slavneft-YANOS), utilizing long-range FP-1 unmanned aerial vehicles to target one of Russia’s critical energy processing facilities.
The Yaroslavl facility represents a key strategic target within Russia’s oil refining infrastructure, operating with an annual processing capacity of approximately 15 million metric tons of crude oil. The refinery plays an essential role in sustaining the country’s fuel logistics, producing gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, and various other petroleum products critical to military and industrial supply chains.
The operation highlights the continued evolution and deployment of Ukraine’s indigenous FP-1 deep-strike drone platform, designed to execute precision long-range strikes against high-value strategic targets deep inside enemy territory.
