Ukrainian company Air3F has announced the codification of the Varkhan unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). The platform is designed for logistics missions, including the delivery of ammunition, water, medical supplies and equipment directly to positions.
Varkhan is built on a 4×4 all-wheel-drive chassis with dependent suspension and 220 mm of ground clearance. The system can carry up to 300 kg of cargo and travel up to 37 km over rough terrain with a full load. Without a load, its range is up to 50 km.
According to Air3F, the system can operate for up to 72 hours, while quick-change batteries help reduce downtime during replacement. Varkhan has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.
For control and data transmission, Varkhan uses a secure analog radio link. The system also supports integration with Starlink and LTE. For operations at night, it is equipped with infrared illumination.
According to the manufacturer, the system’s design includes protection for mechanical transmission components and electronics against overloads. Air3F also notes that Varkhan was developed with frontline operating conditions in mind.
In addition to Varkhan, the company serially produces T-Bone ground control stations, antennas, masts, repeaters and rotary mechanisms. According to Air3F, these components can work together to provide communications and control of the platforms.
