Frodo UGV

Ukrainian defense company Frontline Robotics has unveiled the new six-wheeled Frodo unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). The platform is designed for logistics, evacuation and fire support missions.

The Frodo features a 6×6 wheel configuration and can reach a top speed of up to 40 km/h. Its claimed range is up to 150 km, while its maximum payload capacity is up to 400 kg.

The chassis features an independent adaptive suspension and adjustable ground clearance ranging from 170 to 330 mm. According to the developer, the platform can continue moving after losing one of its wheels. The battery packs can be replaced by a single soldier.

The Frodo is designed for logistics and evacuation missions and can also serve as a carrier for remotely controlled weapon stations. In particular, the platform can be equipped with the Burya turret developed by Frontline Robotics.

The UGV has already completed codification and can be procured for the needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
