Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle technology is expanding into Nordic production lines as local developers seek to scale output across Europe. Ukrainian drone developer Airlogix has signed a letter of intent with Finnish manufacturer Innokas to establish production facilities in Finland, aiming to bolster supply lines for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The strategic partnership, framed within the Build with Ukraine initiative, focuses on creating additional manufacturing sites to reinforce European supply chains during ongoing hostilities. As reported by UNITED 24 Media, all primary engineering solutions and core technologies will remain under Ukrainian ownership. Innokas will handle local assembly, operational scaling, and manufacturing processes within Finland. The next phase will establish the legal and technical operational frameworks, with both companies evaluating the potential creation of a formal joint venture.

Airlogix specializes in fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, most notably the Gor tactical reconnaissance drone used for artillery calibration and target identification at operational depths, alongside the Anubis strike drone. The agreement aligns with Ukraine’s broader effort to expand its Drone Deal initiative, following defense cooperation agreements with international partners including Latvia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. Through these partnerships, foreign countries gain access to combat-tested unmanned technologies and production frameworks while increasing regional air defense capabilities.
