ParaZero's DefendAir neutralizes hostile drones by intercepting them with nets

ParaZero Technologies has received its first order for the DefendAir counter-unmanned aerial system from a U.S. federal government entity, marking the company’s debut sale of the platform to a U.S. government customer.

The procurement includes DefendAir net launchers, Net Pods, and on-site operator training delivered by company personnel, as stated in the official press release by ParaZero. Based in Kfar Saba, the defense-tech firm engineered the system to provide a physical interception capability against small drones using autonomous guidance and net-based mechanics rather than kinetic or explosive methods, making it suitable for protected sites and urban environments.

The manually operated configuration functions as a final tier of defense for mobile forces and security operators guarding critical infrastructure. Alongside the hardware, the contract incorporates comprehensive hands-on training to ensure operators can deploy the interceptors effectively during time-sensitive security scenarios.

The U.S. agreement follows a recent initial order for DefendAir Net Pods from a Tier-1 European defense manufacturer earlier this month, reflecting broader international adoption as security agencies increasingly integrate non-kinetic interception technologies to counter unauthorized aerial drones.
