Other features: Powered by a turbojet engine – with serial production units transitioning to the national Kale KTJ-3200 engine developed by Kale Group – the Atmaca features advanced sea-skimming capabilities, flying at an extremely low altitude above the water’s surface to significantly reduce hostile radar detection time to just 15 to 30 seconds. Its guidance system combines an Inertial Navigation System (INS), GPS, barometric and radar altimeters, and an active RF seeker for high-precision terminal homing. Offering operational flexibility via a two-way data link, the missile supports mid-flight target updates, re-attacks, mission aborts, and synchronized time-on-target salvo strikes. The platform-agnostic missile is integrated onto surface combatants such as corvettes, frigates, and patrol boats, while also being adapted for coastal mobile launchers and future platforms.
