Ukrainian defense companies GLEFA and Culver Aerospace have presented a new Shahed-style loitering munition named Behemoth. Engineered for middle-strike operations, the platform delivers a dual-payload configuration against targets at ranges up to 300 kilometers.
The drone features a physical envelope measuring 2.2 meters in length, 2.28 meters in wingspan, and 0.5 meters in height. Its primary strike capability relies on a combined 75-kilogram payload capacity divided into two sequential warheads: a 40-kilogram high-explosive fragmentation warhead located in the nose section, followed directly by a 35-kilogram thermobaric warhead, as reported by Militarnyi.
The system has entered serial production and is currently fielded by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Operational flight control supports fully autonomous navigation via predetermined coordinates, semi-automated routines, and direct manual FPV modes.
Designed for low-altitude flight profiles to evade detection and engagement by adversary air defense systems, the platform provides functional versatility for tactical interdiction within near-rear operational areas.
