Ukraine secures over 2,000 kilometers of frontline supply routes against drones

Ukraine has equipped 2,013 km of logistical routes with anti-drone protection.

The State Special Transport Service, acting under the direction of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, has equipped 2,013 kilometers of frontline logistic routes with anti-drone protection. Work along this strategic direction has been ongoing since April 2025.

During August alone, engineering teams built 214 kilometers of anti-drone shielding along key transportation arteries, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine stated.

These logistical arteries require continuous reinforcement as they facilitate daily cargo transport, equipment deployment, and the evacuation of personnel in high-risk zones. The systematic enhancement of route security aims to mitigate operational risks and maintain stable transport connectivity across the most vulnerable sectors near the front line.
