A suspected arson attack at a Tallinn facility utilized by Estonian defense firm Milrem Robotics has failed to impact the company’s production schedule or supply operations for Ukraine. Chief Executive Officer Kuldar Väärsi confirmed that scheduled shipments of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) remain unaffected for both current and upcoming production cycles. Estonian law enforcement authorities, along with Prime Minister Kristen Michal, are currently investigating potential foreign state involvement, including links to Russian hybrid operations.

As reported by Reuters, Milrem Robotics operates as one of two foreign manufacturers with UGV fleets in active service with Ukrainian armed forces. The defense contractor projects its operational deployment in Ukraine will exceed 200 robotic systems by the end of the current calendar year. The incident reflects broader security concerns regarding hybrid threats targeting defense industrial base infrastructure, logistics nodes, and European military supply networks supporting Ukrainian defense efforts.
