The Department of the Air Force has issued a draft notice for the DAF Battle Network Megatron Multiple Award Contract, establishing a multi-year purchasing vehicle for command-and-control technology across the Air Force and Space Force. Managed by the PAE C3BM office under the broader DAF Battle Network initiative—which evolved from the Advanced Battle Management System—the arrangement streamlines the acquisition of digital infrastructure, sensor integration, secure data processing, network connectivity, software applications, and computer-simulated training environments.
Under the procurement plan, winning vendors will be divided into small-business and unrestricted pools. Interested companies must submit written feedback on the restricted draft requirements by September 30 to contracting officer Julianne Payne, ahead of a virtual industry day scheduled for October 7 hosted by program manager Jeffery “Ryan” Compton and Payne. Following draft proposal releases slated for late 2026 and finalized solicitations expected in early 2027, the Air Force aims to award the contracts in the summer of 2027, as noted on the U.S. government procurement portal SAM.gov
