UForce deploys 11 maritime drones and 8 UAVs at NATO exercises

Ukrainian company UForce took part in the NATO REPMUS 26 international exercises in Portugal, deploying 11 uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) and eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Last year, UForce brought five vessels to the exercise and played the role of the opposing force. This year, the company operated as both the opposing force and allied forces, taking part in attack, reconnaissance, and defence scenarios.

At REPMUS 26, UForce showcased the MV7 maritime platform in all configurations currently fielded by the company. Depending on the configuration, the vessels were equipped with interceptors, FPV drones, kinetic strike systems, and electronic warfare systems.

The company also brought its Nemesis SeaStrike ship-launched UAV to the exercise for the first time, along with the MV11 vessels and the L11 uncrewed logistics platform.

All these systems operated under the control of C2 software. The eight UAVs were launched from the decks of the uncrewed surface vessels while at sea.

UForce carried out joint tasks alongside the Ukrainian Navy. According to the company, Ukrainian personnel took part in the exercises together with its teams throughout the event.

UForce also reported that António José Seguro, President of Portugal and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, personally inspected the MV7 uncrewed vessel at the pier.
