Gremsy USA has introduced three NDAA-compliant, Blue UAS-cleared drone payloads to the U.S. market, responding to growing federal pressure on drone manufacturers to secure domestic supply chains.
The new portfolio includes the VIO F1, ORUS L NDAA, and LYNX NDAA systems, as reported by DroneLife. Headquartered in California, Gremsy USA engineers and builds its compliant payloads domestically, combining its stabilized gimbal technology with NDAA-compliant thermal imaging technology from Teledyne FLIR OEM.
The expansion comes amid major shifts in U.S. drone policy, including Federal Communications Commission restrictions on foreign-produced UAS components and increased federal focus on supply chain security. The VIO F1 integrates visible zoom and thermal imaging for industrial and search operations, the ORUS L NDAA is designed for long-range surveillance and critical infrastructure monitoring, and the lightweight LYNX NDAA targets smaller unmanned aerial systems with strict size, weight, and power constraints.
