Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces strike Russian fighters, S-400, and radars in multi-region drone operation

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) executed a coordinated long-range drone operation targeting critical Russian military infrastructure across the Rostov and Krasnodar regions, as well as occupied Crimea. According to USF Commander Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, Ukrainian strike units successfully engaged 11 out of 14 designated high-value targets.

The operation neutralized strategic aviation assets at the Vityazevo airfield in Krasnodar Krai, where strikes hit a Su-33 carrier-capable fighter, a MiG-29 multirole aircraft, and an “Orion” uncrewed aerial vehicle. Concurrently, Ukrainian forces targeted Russian integrated air defense systems across multiple sectors. Attacks in Krasnodar Krai degraded ground-based air defenses, hitting an S-400 “Triumf” position in Gelendzhik, a “Pantsir-S1” system in Yeysk, a “Podlet” radar in Pryhybskyi, and a “Kasta 2E2” radar in Shabelskoye.

In the Rostov region, drone strikes engaged a “Tor” surface-to-air missile system in Pudovyi alongside three early-warning and surveillance radar systems: a “Nebo-U” in Dolotinka, a “Podlet” in Holovativka, and a “Kasta 2E2” in Latonove. Operations extended into occupied Crimea, where strikes focused on degrading air surveillance networks by targeting a “Nebo-U” radar in Sevastopol, a “36D6M” radar in Uiutne, and an “ST-68” radar in Yevpatoria.

This wave of attacks aligns with broader Ukrainian operations targeting Russian logistics and aviation hubs. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed complementary actions, including strikes on a maritime uncrewed vessel site and drone control stations in Chornomorske, alongside logistics and repair depots in Dzhankoi, Chaiky, and Kadiivka. Ukrainian leadership also confirmed the destruction of a Russian Su-24M strike aircraft and associated support equipment at the Saky airfield.
