Iran’s military announced that it launched dozens of explosive drones targeting U.S. personnel and helicopters stationed at Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the Iranian army, the operation was executed as retaliation for a previous U.S. strike on Larak Island that resulted in casualties among Iranian civilians and members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The military designated the facility as a critical logistics and air transport hub for foreign forces, pledging further military actions against U.S. troops, as reported by The Times of Israel.

In response, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence formally denied the reports, stating via an official defense statement that claims regarding strikes or attacks on Al Minhad Air Base are false and unfounded. The Emirati defense department emphasized that its armed forces maintain a high state of operational readiness to counter any threats and protect national sovereignty, security, and stability.
