Isar Aerospace is a German aerospace company specializing in the development and launch of small and medium-sized launch vehicles designed to deliver payloads into low Earth orbit (LEO) and sun-synchronous orbit (SSO). Founded in 2018 with its headquarters in Munich, the company made history as the first private European enterprise whose rocket successfully reached orbit during a mission launched from continental Europe, lifting off from the Andøya Spaceport in Norway.
