Other features: SALVO is a full-fledged multipurpose combat platform equipped with a remote-controlled turret featuring 70mm Roketsan Cirit laser-guided missiles—enabling it to effectively strike both surface and coastal targets—alongside a stabilized 12.7mm machine gun by Aselsan. Designed for more than just surface warfare and target destruction, the platform handles core military missions such as reconnaissance, coastal and critical infrastructure patrols, and armed vessel escort. Developed originally in Turkey, the vessel is now also manufactured on dedicated local production lines established in Azerbaijan through a partnership between Dearsan and the MIRAS company.
