Since the beginning of the year, unmanned systems units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have struck more than 3,000 Russian unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). These figures are based on data from the DELTA combat system.
Every destroyed enemy ground drone severely disrupts the occupiers’ logistics, reduces their reconnaissance and assault capabilities, and forces the enemy to compensate for the losses with manpower and additional resources. The highest intensity of strikes was recorded in August, and during the first half of September alone, Ukrainian defenders disabled nearly two hundred more Russian ground platforms using UAVs, according to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is systematically scaling up the military’s capabilities. As part of these efforts, the “State Logistics Operator” Defence Procurement Agency is launching a competitive procurement of radio-controlled reconnaissance-and-strike FPV drones that meet the current tactical and technical requirements of the Ukrainian defense department and serve as a key tool on the front line.
