Ukrainian technology company Detect Group introduced SeekLevel, a drone-mounted direction-finding system designed to locate hostile electronic warfare assets. Weighing 200 grams and measuring 300×150×90 mm, the module operates across a frequency range of 1500 to 6000 MHz with a receiver sensitivity of −94 dBm. Featuring a power consumption below 6 W and operating voltage between 12 and 50 V, SeekLevel integrates with ArduPilot and Betaflight autopilots. The dual-antenna system outputs azimuth and signal intensity data directly to the UAV operator’s OSD interface in real time.
Those specifications are aimed at a specific tactical problem: locating, not just resisting, enemy jamming. The development represents a strategic shift toward actively neutralizing electronic warfare units rather than relying solely on onboard mitigation technologies such as frequency hopping, target auto-lock, or fiber-optic connections. Detect Group proposes deploying direction-finder UAVs to locate and map emitters, with coordinates then handed off to strike assets or artillery for kinetic targeting, verified subsequently by signals intelligence, as reported by Militarnyi.
Once those emitters are destroyed, the resulting gap in jamming coverage — a low-interference corridor — would allow standard uncrewed platforms and GNSS-guided weapons to operate in the area without the added cost of hardened anti-jamming hardware on every aircraft.
