Leonardo S.p.A. (formerly Finmeccanica until 2017) is a multinational Italian aerospace and defense corporation. The company manufactures military and civil helicopters, and participates in the development and production of combat aircraft – such as the Eurofighter Typhoon program – trainer aircraft, and aircraft structures. It produces radars, avionics, sensors, and electronic warfare (EW) systems. In addition, the company is engaged in the manufacturing of missile systems and armored vehicles.
