NAVSYS Corporation and ALL.SPACE successfully demonstrated a combined system that allows military vehicles to maintain connectivity and precise location tracking during complete GPS jamming conditions. The evaluation took place during the Department of War’s Arcane Thunder exercise, which subjects emerging military technologies to live jamming scenarios within GNSS-denied environments.
During the trials, ALL.SPACE’s Hydra satellite communications terminal maintained uninterrupted vehicle connectivity while moving. Concurrently, NAVSYS equipment intercepted alternative local satellite transmissions not originally intended for navigation. This data was processed through a cloud-based framework known as position, navigation, and timing as a service (PNTaaS) to compute precise vehicle positioning and timing parameters. Both companies emphasized that this dual capability operated from a single integrated hardware suite without degrading communication performance.

John-Paul Szczepanik, Chief Technology Officer of ALL.SPACE, added that the joint approach effectively demonstrated how signals of opportunity can be harvested and exploited without compromising network connectivity.
As GPS interference intensifies across operational theaters like Eastern Europe and the Middle East, NAVSYS intends to expand its PNTaaS infrastructure into Europe to support high-interference zones. While conventional GPS relies on vulnerable L-band frequencies, the joint architecture utilizes Ku- and Ka-band satellite signals commonly deployed for satellite communications, which present significantly higher resistance to broad-spectrum adversarial jamming.
