Other features: The MQ-1 Predator is a medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE) reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicle. Its primary mission is to conduct aerial reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence gathering (ISR), and precision strikes against ground targets using high-precision weaponry. Powered by a turbocharged 115-hp Rotax 914 four-cylinder aircraft engine equipped with a pusher propeller, the aircraft can carry up to two laser-guided AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. Its electro-optical system integrates color daylight cameras, infrared (FLIR) sensors, and a laser rangefinder/designator.
