Other features: Designed to engage stationary and moving land and naval targets deep within enemy defenses – including command posts, troop concentrations, air defense assets, supply depots, and hostile vessels – the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) offers full compatibility with existing multiple launch rocket systems, fitting two rounds per pod in the M142 HIMARS and four rounds in the M270 MLRS. The missile features distinct upgrade increments: Increment 1 serves as the baseline version for stationary coordinate-based targets, while Increment 2 introduces a multi-mode seeker to enable the real-time engagement of moving maritime targets and time-sensitive threats. Built on an open systems architecture, the platform enables the rapid integration of new capabilities and updates for joint force operations.
