Ukrainian defense tech company Tencore has introduced the TRAX Utility, a tracked unmanned ground vehicle designed for firefighting operations. The platform has already been deployed to clear the aftermath of Russian shelling in the Kyiv region.
The UGV features an integrated firefighting module providing an adjustable water flow ranging from 300 to 2,000 liters per minute and supports up to ten sections of fire hose lines. To operate in high-temperature environments, the drone is equipped with a water dispersion system that cools the chassis and generates a protective water curtain ahead of and alongside the vehicle, enabling safe approaches to the epicenter of fires, according to Defender Media.
Control capabilities allow remote operation at distances up to 3 km, with video transmission supported up to 1 km. The platform also incorporates backup communication channels including ELRS, LTE, and Starlink. Following the completion of official trials, the State Emergency Service and firefighting units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have expressed interest in the system.
