Israeli surveillance systems maker ESC BAZ has demonstrated a new line of patrol and assault vehicles built for reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, security missions, and first-response operations to the Israel Defense Forces’ 96th Division.
The platform functions as a mobile intelligence system equipped with sensors designed to extend a unit’s surveillance network while transmitting real-time data back to a central command center, ESC BAZ reports on LinkedIn.
The demonstration featured counter-drone technology developed in partnership with Israeli firm SmartShooter, integrating its fire-control systems—which utilize electro-optical processing and targeting algorithms—to address emerging aerial threats. The 96th Division, established in June 2025 under IDF Central Command to secure the eastern border with Jordan, focuses on counter-smuggling and infiltration missions. ESC BAZ, founded in 1994 and based in Lod, designed the platform to combine established surveillance capabilities with mobile vehicle architecture, while SmartShooter confirmed that both companies plan to continue developing joint force protection solutions.
